# hTokens

Upon depositing assets, users are given lending receipt tokens called hTokens (hKAVA, hATOM, hUSDt). The exchange rate of these tokens starts at 0.020000 and increases over time, as interest is accumulated. 

These hTokens can be deposited in the Genesis Pools or other platforms but are required to be in the user's wallet in order to withdraw the associated assets that were deposited.
